Software Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Software Engineer (Cyber) with experience in high level programming languages and Linux variant OS, to lead a team of software and cyber engineers in building new security architectures.

Requirements:

• Minimum two years' experience with a high level programming language such as Python, Go, Java, or C++

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education

• Experience with a Linux variant OS

• Experience with Git Source Code Management and automated build tools like Ansible

• Understanding of basic networking switch/router concepts

• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance. This requires U.S. citizenship

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with developing Containerized Applications

• Familiarity with Ansible, Jenkins, or other CI/CD and DevSecOps tools

• Knowledge of the Strategy Design Pattern and/or Plugin Architecture Design

• Understanding of Secure Coding Practices and/or developing Cyber Security Solutions

• Interest in being part of a large Cyber Architecture, Assessment, Development, and Consulting team

• Familiarity with low level Kernel development for select high speed traffic control

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the key Cyber engineering team that is building new security architectures across large naval platform systems

• Lead a team of software and cyber engineers

• Provide Software engineering expertise while understanding architectural needs to find suitable cyber solutions

 

 

 

 

Pay Details: $60.00 to $81.00 per hour
