Controls Engineer
Controls Engineer responsible for designing, programming, and troubleshooting PLC-based control systems and HMIs for industrial process equipment.
Job Requirements

4+ years of PLC programming and troubleshooting experience with Allen Bradley platforms (PLC/HMI/Structured Text).

Minimum 2 years of Ignition experience (mandatory).

5+ years of electrical design experience using AutoCAD.

Experience programming control systems in ladder logic, function block, and structured text formats.

Experience designing and developing control schemes for new and existing process equipment.

Experience designing Human Machine Interface (HMI) screens using WonderWare InTouch and/or Ignition.

Experience interfacing and troubleshooting communication systems between PLCs, HMIs, and field devices.
Preferred Skills
-
Experience with industrial networking and fieldbus protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus).

Experience with control system commissioning and startup in a plant or process environment.

Experience creating and maintaining electrical schematics and panel layouts in AutoCAD.

Familiarity with safety PLCs and machine/functional safety standards.
Job Responsibilities
-
Program control systems in ladder logic, function block, and structured text for Allen Bradley PLCs.
-
Design and develop control schemes for new and existing process equipment, including I/O definition and control architecture.

Design HMI screens and control interfaces using WonderWare InTouch and/or Ignition.

Develop electrical design packages, including schematics and panel drawings, using AutoCAD.
-
Configure and troubleshoot communication interfaces between PLCs, HMIs, and associated equipment.

Support testing, debugging, and optimizing control systems prior to and during commissioning.
Pay Details: $33.00 to $45.00 per hour
