Controls Engineer
Responsible for developing, programming, and maintaining PLC and HMI systems in a manufacturing environment, with preference for dairy or food production experience.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Programmer or Controls Engineer in manufacturing
Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens)
HMI design experience (AVEVA, FactoryTalk View)
Familiarity with process databases (Historian)
Strong understanding of industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, DeviceNet, ControlNet)
Ability to read and modify P&IDs
Experience in PID loop tuning and VFD setup (Allen-Bradley PowerFlex, Danfoss, Eaton)
Expertise in digital and analog measurements and discrete sensors
Preferred Skills
Background in dairy or food production manufacturing environments
Experience integrating automation systems with plant-level databases
Knowledge of process optimization techniques
Responsibilities
Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems
Design, test, and maintain process control solutions to improve efficiency and reliability
Integrate controls with industrial networks and process databases
Perform PID loop tuning and configure VFDs
Ensure accurate operation of digital and analog measurement devices and sensors
Review and update P&IDs to support process changes
Collaborate with operations and engineering teams on automation projects
Pay: 42-57

Pay Details: $42.00 to $57.00 per hour
