Summary: Seeking a Manufacturing Technician with experience in assembly, testing, manufacturing, or a related field to support space structures subassembly manufacturing and system level hardware testing.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in assembly, test, manufacturing or related field

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance and work in a classified area

  • 4 years of experience with manufacturing of space qualified hardware

  • Hi-Reliability, Bonding, and Aerial Platform certifications

  • Experience working with hand and torque tools / measurement tools (Micrometers/Calipers)

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience

Responsibilities:

  • Support of space structures Subassembly manufacturing and Single Line Flow integration

  • Preparation for and conducting system level hardware testing (deployments, vibe, etc.)

  • Performing system level alignments to meet system requirements

  • Field support for spacecraft integration and precision alignments

  • Assisting in the design, construction, test and check-out of test equipment

  • Constructing, troubleshooting, calibrating, adjusting, testing, diagnosing and maintaining equipment components devices or systems

  • Operating related equipment; conducting tests and reporting data in prescribed format

  • Performing calibration alignment checks; making adjustments modifications replacements as directed preparing prescribed compounds solutions

 

 

 

 



Pay Details: $22.00 to $30.00 per hour
