Summary: Seeking a Senior Hardware Test Engineer with extensive experience in hardware testing, including acceleration testing and failure analysis within the aerospace industry.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in hardware testing.
  • Strong understanding of basic circuit, RF, and digital hardware design practices.
  • Proficiency in reliability prediction and accelerated life testing.
  • Experience with software development tools like LabView for lab automation.
  • Knowledge of RF/Microwave operation and design.
  • Familiarity with Internet Protocol test tools such as AXIA IX Load, Spirent Avalanche & Landslide, iPerf, and SamKnows.
  • Aerospace-related experience in SatCom and internet connectivity within the aerospace industry.
  • Process-related experience with ISO9000/AS9100.
  • Ability to perform reliability predictions using PTC Windchill.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT) plans, analyze results, and calculate acceleration factors.
  • Perform root cause failure analysis and implement corrective actions to improve designs and development processes.
  • Generate system problem reports and collaborate closely with HW/SW Engineering for resolution.
  • Provide strong support for aerospace-based product developments, particularly in the SatCom and internet connectivity sectors.
  • Ensure compliance with process standards like ISO9000/AS9100.
  • Work on-site to effectively contribute to the team's efforts.


Pay Details: $45.00 to $55.00 PER HOUR
