Quality Technician II
Summary: Seeking a Quality Technician II to oversee and improve product and process quality in the manufacturing industry.
Proven experience in a Quality Technician role, preferably in elastomer fabrication
Strong knowledge of advanced quality assurance methodologies and tools
Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively with various departments
Proficient in using advanced inspection tools and equipment
Preferred Certifications:
Certified Quality Technician (CQT)
Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt Preferred
Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA)
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
May require occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
Responsibilities:
Participate in Material Review Board meetings; review defective components
Handle escalated customer complaints; implement corrective actions
Manage non-conforming materials; coordinate supplier quality improvements
Conduct inspections using advanced tools; ensure compliance with standards
Perform data analysis; identify trends for continuous improvement efforts
Conduct internal audits ensuring compliance with standards and policies
Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
