Responsible for inspecting machined parts and assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections of machined components using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools

  • Verify parts against engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications

  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate records

  • Identify and report non-conforming parts and assist in root cause analysis

  • Support production teams by providing feedback on quality issues

  • Maintain a clean and organized inspection area

  • Follow all safety and quality procedures

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Basic understanding of mechanical drawings and tolerances

  • Familiarity with common inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) preferred

  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, etc.)

  • Ability to stand for extended periods

  • Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality standards

Pay: 18-20

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
