Seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to operate lathes, mills, drills, and grinders while interpreting technical data to ensure precision machining.


Job Requirements:

  • Ability to set up and operate manual machines including lathes, mills, drills, grinders, and hand tools

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, process sheets, and work instructions

  • Skilled in using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, dial indicators, and thread gauges

  • Working knowledge of machine shop math and general machining principles

  • Familiarity with a wide range of machine shop equipment

  • Willingness to work extended hours and rotating day/night shifts during peak seasons

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience maintaining tolerances and achieving accurate dimensions using precision instruments

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with common machining methods

  • Understanding of go/no-go gauges and related inspection tools

Job Responsibilities:

  • Set up machines according to tooling and process requirements

  • Operate manual equipment to produce parts to specification

  • Inspect machined components using precision measurement equipment

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area daily

  • Follow all safety protocols and report unsafe conditions

  • Support team efforts and departmental goals through effective communication and cooperation



Pay Details: $28.00 to $38.00 per hour
