Responsible for setting up and operating manual machining equipment to produce precision components based on technical specifications.

Job Requirements

  • Experience operating manual machines such as lathes, mills, drills, grinders, and hand tools

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, work instructions, and technical data

  • Proficiency in using precision measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, dial indicators, and thread gauges

  • Understanding of machine shop math and standard machining practices

  • Willingness to work extended hours including day and night shifts during peak seasons (Spring/Fall)

  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with determining tooling requirements and machining methods

  • Experience documenting machining setups and inspection results

  • Basic knowledge of preventative maintenance for manual machines

Job Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate manual machining equipment according to specifications

  • Perform accurate measurements and inspections to ensure part conformity

  • Maintain equipment, tooling, and workspace in a safe and functional condition

  • Identify and report unsafe conditions or deviations from process standards

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with team to meet production goals

  • Follow established safety protocols and company procedures at all times



Pay Details: $28.00 to $38.00 per hour
