CNC Mill Machinist (2nd shift)
Summary: Seeking a CNC Mill Machinist for 2nd shift to operate and set up milling machines, conduct inspections, and ensure product quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 2+ years of experience operating CNC milling machines
- Ability to set up, operate, and make minor program edits on CNC equipment
- Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T symbols
- Proficient in using precision measuring tools
Preferred Skills:
- Completion of a CNC machining certification program or formal apprenticeship
- 5+ years of CNC milling experience in job shop or custom manufacturing
- Experience with Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar CAM software
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines based on specifications from blueprints and engineering drawings
- Select and install tooling, fixtures, and workpieces on machines
- Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments
- Troubleshoot machining issues to maintain product quality
Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
