Summary: Seeking a Staff Electrical Engineer with expertise in electronics design for medical devices and regulated industries.

  • Requirements:

    • 8+ years of electronics design experience
    • BS in electrical engineering, MS preferred
    • Experience with design of Electrical Medical Equipment (IEC 60601)
    • Proficiency with Altium and product lifecycle tools
    • Experience in flex circuits, PCB technologies, and board layout
    • Knowledge of common communication interfaces (SPI, I2C, USB, MIPI, Ethernet, etc.)
    • Experience with inductive sensing design
    • High-speed sampling and routing expertise
    • Familiarity with switching power supplies, BLDC motors, MOSFET driving and A/D
    • Design for test and manufacturability experience
    • EMC/EMI/ESD circuit improvement/hardening

  • Responsibilities:

    • Design electronic hardware for complex robotic systems
    • Collaborate with Mechanical team on PCBA layout
    • Support Embedded team processing and sensing needs
    • Manage component selection, schematic capture, and board layout in Altium
    • Develop assembly test equipment
    • Conduct board reliability assessment and failure diagnostics
    • Test and document robotic hardware
    • Guide product and technology teams
    • Coordinate project goals and progress; recommend revisions
    • Set project technical strategic direction


Pay Details: $65.00 to $75.00 per hour
