Staff Electrical Engineer
Summary: Seeking a Staff Electrical Engineer with expertise in electronics design for medical devices and regulated industries.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of electronics design experience
- BS in electrical engineering, MS preferred
- Experience with design of Electrical Medical Equipment (IEC 60601)
- Proficiency with Altium and product lifecycle tools
- Experience in flex circuits, PCB technologies, and board layout
- Knowledge of common communication interfaces (SPI, I2C, USB, MIPI, Ethernet, etc.)
- Experience with inductive sensing design
- High-speed sampling and routing expertise
- Familiarity with switching power supplies, BLDC motors, MOSFET driving and A/D
- Design for test and manufacturability experience
- EMC/EMI/ESD circuit improvement/hardening
Responsibilities:
- Design electronic hardware for complex robotic systems
- Collaborate with Mechanical team on PCBA layout
- Support Embedded team processing and sensing needs
- Manage component selection, schematic capture, and board layout in Altium
- Develop assembly test equipment
- Conduct board reliability assessment and failure diagnostics
- Test and document robotic hardware
- Guide product and technology teams
- Coordinate project goals and progress; recommend revisions
- Set project technical strategic direction
Pay Details: $65.00 to $75.00 per hour
