Extruder Operator

Summary: Seeking experienced Extruder Operators for troubleshooting, machine operation, and production tasks on 2nd and 3rd shifts.

• Must pass background check and drug test

• Experience in troubleshooting, changing out, and replacing worn dies

• Ability to work from blueprints and drawings

• Capable of moving and lifting objects up to 35 lbs

• Determine setup procedures for extruder machines

• Reel extruded products into rolls or reels

• Specify lengths and weights of rolls or reels

• Set controls to regulate vacuum, air pressure, sizing rings, and temperature

• Synchronize speed of extrusion

Responsibilities:

• Operate extruder machines efficiently

• Load parts into machines ensuring lines are running smoothly

• Troubleshoot machines as needed

• Shut down/start up machines as required

• Walk and stand on concrete for extended periods

Pay Details: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour
