Safety Coordinator responsible for supporting and improving health and safety programs across warehouse and manufacturing operations in the Parts Division.

Job Requirements

  • Strong safety background in warehousing or manufacturing environments.

  • Safety degree and/or substantial manufacturing safety experience.

  • Experience developing and delivering safety training.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Experience conducting incident investigations and ergonomic reviews.

  • Ability to compile and analyze safety data, documentation, and correspondence to meet regulatory and management system requirements.

Preferred Skills

  • CSP (Certified Safety Professional) accreditation.

  • Experience with occupational safety program development and implementation.

  • OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour card/certification.

  • Additional OSHA training or certifications.

  • Experience managing corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes.

  • Experience coordinating safety audits and risk assessments.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide interpretation, analysis, and support for projects and processes that support the health and safety management system for distribution and manufacturing operations in the USA.

  • Spend up to 50% of shift on the warehouse floor making safety observations, conducting incident investigations, interviewing employees, and training individuals on safety procedures.

  • Participate in the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of processes to reduce workplace hazards.

  • Conduct incident investigations and ergonomic reviews and assist in determining effective corrective actions.

  • Compile and analyze data and documentation to comply with safety regulations and health and safety management system requirements.

  • Develop recommendations for health and safety processes and programs to meet internal standards and comply with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Manage and review safety recordkeeping per OSHA guidelines and internal processes.

  • Coordinate safety audits and risk assessments to identify noncompliance with standards and regulations.

  • Manage corrective action and preventive action processes.

  • Review new processes, equipment, and assets for potential hazards and compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards and make recommendations prior to introduction.

  • Respond to questions and requests for information related to safety and health issues.

  • Develop, direct, and conduct safety presentations and training sessions.

Pay: 25-30

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
