Tool and Die

Summary: Seeking a Journeyman Tool & Die Repair professional with automotive industry experience for developing, repairing, and managing tooling processes in a non-union manufacturing facility.

• Requirements:

  • Tool & Die Maker certificate or equivalent with 5 years of related work experience
  • Experience in repairing stamping dies and presses
  • Knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation
  • Familiarity with operating tool room and production equipment (grinding, milling, lathe)
  • Must have worked in a manufacturing plant

• Preferred Skills:

  • Crane or forklift certifications
  • Ability to speak Spanish

• Responsibilities:

  • Develop dies, tools, and processes as required
  • Build replacement tools and dies for production use
  • Assist and guide junior Tool & Die Makers and apprentices
  • Collaborate with internal departments on design input and modifications to tools and dies
  • Ensure timely completion of repairs, new dies, tooling, fixtures to prevent production interruptions

Pay Details: $34.00 to $39.00 per hour
