Quality Engineer
Summary: Seeking an Entry-Level Quality Engineer to support quality systems and engineering functions in a manufacturing setting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field
- 0-5 years of relevant Quality Engineering experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with internal quality audits (ISO 9001 or IATF)
Preferred Skills:
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5-S, Total Quality Concepts, 8D, A3, and Six Sigma
Responsibilities:
- Implement and improve inner plant Quality Systems under the direction of the Manager of Quality
- Conduct frequent quality checks to ensure products and processes meet standards
- Create quality documents in compliance with company standards
- Troubleshoot root cause analysis and maintain documentation related to control plans
- Maintain SPC charts and develop resolutions for out-of-specification data
- Investigate root causes of quality problems and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues
- Establish quality standards for products and processes
- Inspect raw materials, components, and final products to ensure compliance with quality standards
Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
