Responsibilities:

  • Manage customers and suppliers through the new product launch process

  • Evaluate, complete, and submit required customer documentation, including control plans, FEMAs, PPAP, lab packages/submissions, AAR approvals, PSO, 8Ds, and run-at-rate

  • Provide guidance and direction to Quality Technicians

  • Coordinate the completion and evaluation of PPAP submissions

  • Complete 8-Ds, 5S’s, and Drill Deep and Wide processes as required

  • Coordinate PSO submissions and conduct/design DOE studies

  • Track and coordinate engineering changes and monitor color compliance

  • Ensure compliance with FMVSS standards on assigned product lines

  • Create and maintain control plans

  • Conduct capability and gage R&R studies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Minimum 5 years of quality engineering experience in an automotive manufacturing environment

  • Experience managing customers and suppliers through the new product launch process

  • Strong knowledge of customer-required documentation including control plans, FEMAs, PPAP, AAR approvals, PSO, 8Ds, and related processes

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience conducting DOE studies

  • Familiarity with FMVSS compliance standards

  • Proficiency in gage R&R and capability studies



Pay Details: $82,000.00 to $92,000.00 per year
