Hoist Technician
Summary: Seeking a Hoist Technician with experience in hoist or crane service/maintenance, capable of working independently and traveling extensively for training and service.
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED
Ability to work independently from engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and parts lists
Valid driver's license and good driving record
Ability to travel up to 60% of the time
Must provide hand tools
Preferred Skills:
State and National licensing and certifications
Experience in repair and service of elevators, cranes, or other electro-mechanical equipment
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and PLC controls
Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations for safety, reliability, and dependability
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on elevators per the Maintenance Manual
Troubleshoot electric brakes, motors, switches, variable frequency drives, and PLC control systems
Report accurate data for parts recommendations or process improvements
Develop excellent customer relationships through communication and follow-up calls
Respond to emergency calls during business hours and after hours for service/repair
Pay Details: $30.00 to $36.00 per hour
