Summary: Seeking a Maintenance Repairman with expertise in electrical and mechanical maintenance for heavy manufacturing equipment.

  • Requirements:

    • 7 years of experience in heavy manufacturing
    • Electrical knowledge equivalent to a journeyman certification
    • Proficiency with testing equipment and tools used in electrical maintenance
    • Strong mechanical knowledge approaching journeyman certification level
    • Familiarity with troubleshooting motors, transformers, and industrial robotics
  • Preferred Skills:

    • Well-versed in the National Electrical Code and other relevant safety standards
  • Responsibilities:

    • Use equipment such as ammeters, ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to test connections and ensure safety
    • Maintain wiring, fuses, contactors, relays, and other components for manufacturing equipment
    • Replace circuit breakers, fuses, switches, relays, electrical and electronic components as needed
    • Inspect equipment periodically to ensure proper operation and address potential issues before breakdowns occur
    • Repair motors, transformers, generators, and electronic controllers on machine tools and industrial robots
    • Respond promptly to facility emergencies and equipment breakdowns
    • Perform lock-out procedures on equipment as needed for safety compliance
    • Troubleshoot equipment failures using a combination of electrical and mechanical knowledge
    • Read blueprints, schematics, and the National Electrical Code to ensure compliance


Pay Details: $30.00 to $34.00 per hour
