Buyer/Expediter
Procurement Specialist – Manages end-to-end purchasing of goods and services to ensure cost-effective, high-quality, and timely supply for organizational needs.
Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or a closely related role.

Knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and best practices.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and MS Project, including maintaining large, multi-hundred-line-item spreadsheets.
Preferred Skills:
-
Experience with procurement software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

Aerospace or highly regulated industry experience.
-
Familiarity with contract management principles and supplier agreements.

Knowledge of supply chain logistics and inventory management concepts.

Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM).
Job Responsibilities:

Review purchase requisitions and requests for tools and fixtures to determine appropriate procurement methods and sourcing strategies.

Identify potential suppliers, solicit bids or quotations, and evaluate proposals for goods and services.

Negotiate commercial terms and pricing to achieve best value for the organization.

Use MS Project and Excel to track and manage procurement activities, including large line-item lists and project-related purchases.

Generate purchase orders and contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Monitor and track order status, expediting schedules and deliveries as required to meet project timelines.

Resolve issues and discrepancies with suppliers related to pricing, quality, and delivery performance.

Maintain supplier relationships and participate in supplier performance evaluations and reviews.
Pay Details: $29.00 to $39.00 per hour
