Project Manager
Project Manager overseeing aerospace and defense projects with full ownership of scope, schedule, budget, and export compliance initiatives.
Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline and at least 5 years of relevant experience, or at least 15 years of directly related experience in lieu of degree.

Background in aerospace and/or Department of Defense (DoD) environments.

Experience scheduling and budgeting projects.

Experience with project management oversight of application, infrastructure, security, and software development initiatives.

Proficiency in building and managing project schedules in MS Project.
-
U.S. citizenship.
-
Ability to travel up to 25%.
Preferred Skills
-
Experience with multiple project methodologies, including waterfall and agile Scrum.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Job Responsibilities
-
Communicate and manage project vision with project leadership to align project plan, scope, company commitments, and customer expectations.

Define deliverables and scope of work, and develop detailed project schedules to meet business objectives and customer requirements.

Build and coordinate project teams and establish effective working relationships with impacted departments and functional areas.

Communicate expectations and instill accountability in project team members.

Resolve conflicts, promote work sharing, and drive teams toward common goals.

Apply project management principles, including financial management, scope and schedule management, risk and opportunity management, problem solving, and variance/root cause analysis to ensure on-time delivery.

Escalate critical issues to leadership with proposed action plans.

Make timely business decisions that support overall project and business objectives.

Summarize and present key project information to senior leadership for decision-making.

Manage multiple projects, tasks, and resources through effective organization and prioritization to meet operational objectives.

Participate in continuous process improvement and lean initiatives.

Manage projects related to Jurisdiction & Classification and Hardware Export Management, with responsibility for the project execution phase.
Pay Details: $51.00 to $69.00 per hour
