Structural Engineer

Structural Engineer responsible for leading 3D structural modeling, detailed design, and project coordination for multidisciplinary engineering projects.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering.

• 4+ years of experience as a Structural Engineer.

• Proficiency in RISA 3D for structural analysis and modeling.

• Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and structural hand calculations.

• Experience overseeing creation of 3D models and detailed drawings in RISA 3D.

• Experience ensuring design adherence to ANSI, EIA/TIA, and AASHTO standards.

• Experience developing and monitoring detailed project scopes and schedules.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SolidWorks for mechanical/detailed design.

• Experience coordinating and overseeing technical drawings in SolidWorks with design or MDE teams.

• Experience leading and managing multidisciplinary project teams.

• Hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle from concept through execution.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee the creation of 3D structural models and detailed drawings using RISA 3D.

• Coordinate and oversee technical drawings in SolidWorks in collaboration with the MDE team.

• Ensure all designs adhere to applicable ANSI, EIA/TIA, and AASHTO standards and project specifications.

• Develop and monitor detailed project scopes, schedules, and engineering activity plans.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, internal project teams, vendors, and subcontractors to support project execution.

• Prepare basic engineering requirements and foundational design data for structural projects.

• Oversee scheduling of engineering activities and ensure timely receipt of technical information from clients and stakeholders.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $54.00 per hour
