Machine Vision Software Engineer responsible for cross-platform C/C++ development for high-performance camera and vision software on Linux and Windows.
Job Requirements

Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field

Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with modern C/C++ (C++17)

Proficiency with the Qt framework on both Linux and Windows platforms
-
Ability to design and maintain cross-platform code for multiple operating systems
-
Experience using source control systems such as SVN and Git
-
Knowledge of the OSI model, Ethernet, and UDP-based communication for camera interfaces
-
USA citizen or permanent resident status
Preferred Skills

Experience with Python and .NET (C# or VB.NET) for supplemental tools and applications

Experience with CMake for build configuration and management
-
Experience with FFmpeg and GStreamer for video file handling and streaming

Familiarity with OpenCV for image and video processing
-
Knowledge of PTP (IEEE-1588) network protocol

Experience with AI frameworks and libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and YOLO for advanced vision and detection capabilities
Job Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain software for machine vision cameras to ensure high performance and reliability on Linux and Windows platforms

Implement cross-platform applications with a strong emphasis on C/C++17 and Qt
-
Integrate, manage, and maintain codebases using SVN and Git to support robust development workflows

Develop and optimize code for video processing using FFmpeg and related tools
-
Implement image analysis and vision algorithms using OpenCV and related libraries
-
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to create solutions for machine vision applications
-
Contribute to architecture, performance optimization, and reliability improvements across the software stack
Pay Details: $58.00 to $78.00 per hour
