Project Engineer

Project Engineer responsible for leading engineering projects from specification review through delivery, with a focus on pump or oil and gas applications.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil/Structural Engineering

• 5–20 years of experience in project engineering or related engineering role

• Experience leading technical projects from kickoff through completion

• Ability to read and interpret engineering specifications and drawings

• Experience with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software

• Understanding of bills of materials (BOMs) and revision control

• Experience with material selection for industrial equipment and systems

Preferred Skills

• Background in the pump industry

• Experience in the oil and gas industry or related heavy industrial sectors

• Experience coordinating with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams

• Experience managing project deliverables, schedules, and technical documentation

Job Responsibilities

• Lead assigned engineering projects from requirements review through final delivery

• Interpret engineering specifications, drawings, and customer requirements for project scope definition

• Develop, review, and maintain bills of materials (BOMs) and ensure accuracy throughout the project lifecycle

• Support material selection and ensure compatibility with application, performance, and regulatory requirements

• Coordinate with design teams using SolidWorks or similar CAD tools to ensure designs meet project requirements

• Track and manage project deliverables, including technical documentation, drawings, and reports

• Interface with internal stakeholders and vendors to support manufacturing, procurement, and installation activities

• Identify and resolve technical issues impacting project cost, schedule, or performance

Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
