Mechanical Assembler
Requirements
-
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials

Mechanical assembly experience with acrylic molding, sanding/cutting, and measuring equipment
-
Proficient with basic hand and power tools; skilled in drill and drill-bit use
-
Ability to operate fork trucks and overhead cranes for material handling

Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs and stand for up to 8 hours per day
-
Ability to climb up to 6 feet (approximately 25% of the time)

Steel-toed boots

100% onsite work
-
First shift schedule: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Preferred Skills
-
Experience building aerospace or flight-simulator assemblies

Experience performing rework/repair to engineering change specifications

Experience conducting quality checks and documenting defects

Experience maintaining workstation inventory accuracy
Responsibilities
-
Build mechanical subassemblies and perform on-unit installations per drawings and work instructions
-
Operate hand and electric tools; perform acrylic molding, sanding/cutting, and precision measurements
-
Load/unload materials and finished goods using fork trucks and overhead cranes
-
Execute in-process and final quality checks; record and escalate defects
-
Perform rework/repairs in accordance with updated engineering specifications
-
Maintain inventory at workstations and ensure accurate usage recording

Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
Pay Details: $15.00 to $18.00 per hour
