Structural Checker

Responsible for checking structural and civil design drawings to ensure accuracy, code compliance, and constructability for oil & gas and power generation projects.

Responsibilities:

• Check structural plans, sections, and details for accuracy and compliance

• Review skid designs and ensure adherence to project requirements

• Verify concrete drawings including location plans, foundation details, anchor bolt details, and rebar BOMs

• Perform design checks for facilities such as compressor stations, cryogenic plants, LNG facilities, H2S removal plants, and amine plants

• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (PIP, ACI, AISC, etc.)

• Coordinate with design teams to resolve discrepancies and improve drawing quality

Requirements:

• 5–20 years of experience in civil/structural design with prior checking experience

• Background in midstream/upstream oil & gas or power generation industry

• Proficiency in Cadworx and 3D AutoCAD for reviewing and checking drawings

• Familiarity with PIP, ACI, AISC, and other relevant industry codes and standards

Preferred Skills:

• Experience checking multidisciplinary drawings in large industrial projects

• Knowledge of construction practices and field implementation in oil & gas or power generation sectors

• Strong understanding of concrete and steel design principles

Pay Details: $50.00 to $53.00 per hour
