Security Software Engineer

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field

• 5+ years of experience in software development, security architecture, application security, or offensive security with a focus on building security systems

• Experience designing and implementing automated security tools in Python or Go

• Deep understanding of secure system design principles, authentication, and authorization mechanisms

Preferred Skills:

• Experience building automation to scale security reviews and remediation

• Familiarity with vulnerability remediation and secure vendor product integration

• Background in incident response with architectural insights for containment and remediation

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and deploy baseline security solutions to protect applications and services

• Develop security guardrails to eliminate classes of vulnerabilities at scale

• Build automation to enhance and scale security review processes

• Collaborate with engineering teams, product managers, and security staff to embed security best practices across the software development lifecycle

• Provide expert guidance on secure product development and integration

• Participate in incident response activities and provide architectural recommendations

Pay Details: $42.00 to $57.00 per hour
