Summary:
Perform design, requirements, validation, and verification tasks for A/MH-6R, MH-60M, and MH-47G cockpit avionics in support of US Army Special Operations Aviation (SOA) programs.

Job Requirements:

  • US citizenship required

  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)

  • Relevant systems engineering experience

  • Working knowledge of data busses and protocols, including Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553B, and ARINC-429

Preferred Skills:

  • Military avionics experience

  • Experience with TNT, DOORS, PREP, JIRA, and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Background in lab-based testing and hardware/software integration

Responsibilities:

  • Execute design, requirements, validation, and verification tasks for SOA cockpit avionics systems

  • Conduct requirements-based testing, robustness testing, and ad-hoc testing in a lab environment, including on-site execution with schedule flexibility during formal test phases

  • Support cross-functional development teams including external customer stakeholders and internal hardware/software engineering groups for multiple CAAS builds

  • Utilize engineering tools such as TNT, DOORS, JIRA, PREP, Microsoft applications, and SVN to perform assigned tasks

  • Investigate lab hardware, system interfaces, and integration of Collins Aerospace equipment with government-furnished equipment



Pay Details: $37.00 to $49.00 per hour
