Supplier Quality Engineer

Seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to manage supplier qualification, audits, and improvement initiatives in alignment with industry standards.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor�s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in supplier quality, supplier development, or supply chain

• Strong technical expertise in welding and coating; CWI certification preferred

• Knowledge of ISO and ASME standards

• Proficiency with root cause analysis and risk management tools

• Lead Auditor certification or equivalent experience

• Experience in supplier qualification, audits, and risk assessment

• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%

Preferred Skills

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification

• Experience in global supply chain collaboration

• Familiarity with digital quality management tools

Job Responsibilities

• Lead supplier qualification processes, including audits, capability assessments, and risk evaluations

• Manage Product and Process Qualification (PPQ) activities in compliance with applicable standards

• Implement and optimize Supplier Quality Management processes, tools, and guidelines

• Drive supplier quality improvement initiatives, root cause analysis, and risk mitigation plans

• Monitor corrective action implementation and verify effectiveness

• Participate in design reviews, engage suppliers early in the design process, and support design-to-cost and design-to-localization strategies

Pay Details: $32.00 to $34.00 per hour
