Supplier Quality Engineer
Seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to manage supplier qualification, audits, and improvement initiatives in alignment with industry standards.
Job Requirements

Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field

Minimum 5 years of experience in supplier quality, supplier development, or supply chain

Strong technical expertise in welding and coating; CWI certification preferred

Knowledge of ISO and ASME standards

Proficiency with root cause analysis and risk management tools

Lead Auditor certification or equivalent experience

Experience in supplier qualification, audits, and risk assessment

Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%
Preferred Skills
-
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification

Experience in global supply chain collaboration

Familiarity with digital quality management tools
Job Responsibilities

Lead supplier qualification processes, including audits, capability assessments, and risk evaluations

Manage Product and Process Qualification (PPQ) activities in compliance with applicable standards

Implement and optimize Supplier Quality Management processes, tools, and guidelines

Drive supplier quality improvement initiatives, root cause analysis, and risk mitigation plans

Monitor corrective action implementation and verify effectiveness

Participate in design reviews, engage suppliers early in the design process, and support design-to-cost and design-to-localization strategies
Pay Details: $32.00 to $34.00 per hour
