Manufacturing/RF Technician

Performs RF testing, troubleshooting, calibration, and assembly of electronic systems and components in support of manufacturing operations.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required

• 8+ years of relevant experience, or associate degree with 4+ years of experience

• Strong hand-eye coordination for work under a microscope

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and Bills of Material

• Electrical background at the component level

• Must be able to lift and transport up to 30 lbs

• Certification or experience with J-STD-001 and IPC-610 standards

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with RF calibration and metrology

• Familiarity with temperature and humidity instrumentation

• Environmental testing and monitoring experience

• Proficiency with signal generators, oscilloscopes, power meters, spectrum analyzers, and other RF test equipment

• Working knowledge of electronic theory including RF transmission, receiver circuits, analog and digital circuitry

• Ability to troubleshoot RF/digital circuits to the component level

• Understanding of calibration procedures for RF circuitry and test equipment

• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., E3 process)

• Ability to travel to other campuses for equipment support when required

Job Responsibilities:

• Test, troubleshoot, and calibrate avionics electronic systems and components

• Construct, maintain, and adjust test equipment used for RF testing and tuning

• Perform diagnostics and fault analysis using a variety of electronic test tools

• Review and follow schematics, diagrams, specifications, and test procedures

• Document test results and analyze data to ensure proper functionality of units under test

• Identify discrepancies in test performance and provide solutions to resolve issues

• Support mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly operations as needed

• Contribute to process improvement efforts in collaboration with engineering and production teams

• Assist in developing methods and procedures to enhance the manufacturing process

Pay Details: $26.00 to $34.00 per hour
