Modernizes legacy RF systems by designing updated circuits and layouts, transitioning from RS-232 to CAN, with hands-on Altium expertise and support for board design activities.


Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in both circuit design and PCB layout

  • Proficiency with Altium Designer

  • Experience with RF circuit modernization and interface transitions (RS-232 to CAN)

  • Familiarity with processor selection and embedded system integration

  • Ability to support other board designers with technical guidance


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with older TI processors and migrating to modern architectures

  • Knowledge of signal integrity, impedance matching, and RF layout best practices

  • Capable of collaborative troubleshooting and layout optimization

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) preferred


Job Responsibilities:

  • Design updated RF circuits to replace legacy systems

  • Develop PCB layouts using Altium, including high-speed and RF considerations

  • Assist other board designers as needed, offering expertise and layout advice

  • Contribute to processor selection and architecture decisions for system modernization

  • Ensure compatibility and functionality between new designs and existing systems



Pay Details: $54.00 to $72.00 per hour
