Backfill Software Quality Engineer #20976
Provides quality engineering support for medical and non-medical device software, focusing on process implementation, issue resolution, and cross-functional collaboration.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in engineering, life sciences, or related field
2+ years of experience in a quality engineering role
Experience supporting both medical and non-medical device software
Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) processes and procedures
Knowledge of software issue resolution, defect tracking, and corrective action processes
Experience working with cross-functional teams including R&D, Clinical, and Quality
Preferred Skills:
Experience supporting NC (Non-Conformance) and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) processes
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and related quality practices
Background in clinical or commercial software environments
Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485)
Job Responsibilities:
Support quality engineering activities for medical and commercial software products
Implement and maintain QMS procedures and process improvements
Collaborate with clinical, R&D, and quality teams to ensure compliance and software reliability
Investigate and help resolve software defects and quality issues
Support documentation, tracking, and resolution of NC/CAPA items
Assist in maintaining quality oversight throughout the product lifecycle
Pay:45-55

Pay Details: $45.00 to $55.00 per hour
