Mechanical Systems Engineer
Seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design, integrate, and support aerial firefighting and agricultural equipment for rotorcraft, including field validation and FAA certification efforts.
Job Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Minimum of 5 years of mid to senior-level experience in the aerospace industry

Proficient in SolidWorks for component design and drafting

Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles

Experience with electromechanical systems and system integration

Familiarity with electrical circuits and control systems

Ability to travel approximately 20% for on-site validation and troubleshooting

Experience with programming platforms such as Arduino or PLC
Preferred Skills:

Experience supporting FAA STC certification processes for aircraft modifications

Background in hydraulic systems and mechanical attachments
Job Responsibilities:

Design and integrate rotorcraft-mounted equipment for aerial firefighting and agriculture

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop components from concept to production

Conduct on-site system validation, troubleshooting, and integration
-
Support efforts to obtain FAA STC certifications and ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Utilize SolidWorks to create and update component designs, drawings, and documentation
-
Apply knowledge of programming, electrical systems, and hydraulics to integrated solutions
Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
