Pipefitter

Seeking a skilled pipefitter to independently execute medium-complexity mechanical assemblies involving black pipe, copper, PVC, and tubing in accordance with hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams.

Job Requirements:

• One-year technical certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant pipefitting experience

• Ability to interpret blueprints, pneumatic and hydraulic diagrams

• Proficient in reading technical documentation, procedures, and specifications

• Familiar with J.I.C. pipefitting standards and safety regulations

• Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds and working in physically demanding environments

• Must supply own tools and PPE

• Regular and predictable attendance required

Preferred Skills:

• Proficient in SCH40 black/galvanized pipe layout and installation

• Proficient in L-series copper layout and sweating

• Proficient in SCH80 PVC pipe layout and installation

• Experienced in tube bending and header layout

• Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic component functions (valves, FRLs, etc.)

• Ability to set working pressures and valve sequencing

• Familiar with pressure testing, component installation, and system flushing

Job Responsibilities:

• Lay out and install piping systems using various materials for hydraulic and pneumatic applications

• Assemble mechanical structures in line with technical drawings and J.I.C. specifications

• Mark changes on drawings and ensure updated documentation

• Maintain clean and organized work area per quality and safety protocols

• Follow safety, environmental, and quality system requirements

• Identify safety/environmental concerns and report accordingly

• Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing efforts

Pay Details: $16.00 to $21.00 per hour
