Controls Engineer
Design, program, and optimize custom automation equipment using Rockwell Studio 5000 and associated hardware/software platforms.
Job Requirements:

8+ years of experience designing, installing, troubleshooting, modifying, and maintaining control systems in highly automated industrial environments

Expert-level proficiency with Rockwell Automation PLCs (Studio 5000)

Extensive experience with servo systems, motors, and variable frequency drives

Strong experience with FactoryTalk View and Ignition HMI platforms

Proficiency in electrical schematics interpretation

Ability to create detailed technical documentation

Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering (preferred, not required)
Preferred Skills:
-
Experience working independently and in team environments
-
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking capabilities
-
Familiarity with AutoCAD for occasional electrical design

Experience with vision sensors and specifying industrial components
-
Ability to oversee projects from quote through commissioning
Job Responsibilities:
-
Develop and implement robust PLC logic using Studio 5000
-
Create intuitive HMIs using FactoryTalk View and Ignition
-
Specify and select components (PLCs, HMIs, drives, sensors, etc.)
-
Produce electrical drawings in AutoCAD as needed
-
Generate project quotations and manage full project lifecycle

Modify PLC and HMI programs for performance optimization
-
Troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and process issues
Pay Details: $42.00 to $57.00 per hour
