Responsible for performing inspections and evaluations of welded and formed components to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution

  • Education in AC/DC fundamentals and/or minimum of 1 year of experience in electricity, welding, or steel forming

  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and engineering documentation

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Ability to use measurement devices and gauges

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience inspecting welds and evaluating forming deviations

  • Ability to assess structural integrity and verify component alignment

  • Capable of auditing deviation requests and maintaining detailed inspection records

  • Ability to make go/no-go decisions and evaluate compliance with design specifications

Job Responsibilities:

  • Inspect welds and measure against standards for quality and consistency

  • Identify visible damage such as corrosion, cracks, leaks, and deformation

  • Verify secure fasteners and proper alignment of welded and formed parts

  • Review and approve welding processes and safety requirements

  • Accept or reject components, materials, and equipment based on inspection results

  • Maintain accurate documentation of inspections and deviations

  • Support the Quality Supervisor with daily duties, including quality assessments and deviation audits

  • Fill in across all test and inspection areas within the QA/QC departments as needed

  • Evaluate component performance and ensure adherence to design and safety specifications



Pay Details: $17.50 to $23.00 per hour
