Controls Engineer
Develop and implement PLC programs from scratch, perform offline development, and support motion control and onsite commissioning for industrial automation systems.
Job Requirements:
-
Minimum 2 years of experience creating PLC programs from the ground up

Proficiency in offline PLC programming and file importation

Experience conducting PLC debugging and onsite commissioning

Familiarity with motion control systems including Rockwell Motion Control, Allen Bradley Motion Control, and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
Preferred Skills:
-
Experience with Allen Bradley Kinetix 5700 Servo systems

Understanding of multi-axis servo motion control (up to 30 axes)

Ability to utilize provided reference materials to support programming
Job Responsibilities:

Develop and configure PLC programs based on provided systems and requirements

Perform offline programming tasks including setup and file imports

Conduct thorough debugging of PLC logic and systems

Travel to job sites for commissioning and support of automated systems

Assist with integration and tuning of servo motion control systems and VFDs
-
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure optimal system performance
Pay Details: $40.00 to $54.00 per hour
