Electronic Technician
Assemble and wire large-scale industrial electrical cabinets and control panels according to schematics and engineering specifications.
Job Requirements:
-
4+ years of hands-on experience wiring industrial control panels and cabinets

Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, diagrams, specifications, work orders, and bills of materials

Skilled in point-to-point wiring and installation of components such as PLCs, relays, switches, and indicator lights

Experienced with hand tools including wire strippers, crimpers, screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliers
Preferred Skills:
-
Ability to red-line documentation and support Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)

Mechanical aptitude for drilling, tapping, deburring, grinding, and sawing

Familiarity with handling materials using hand pallet jacks

Experience installing complete assemblies and subassemblies into large control cabinets
Job Responsibilities:

Wire and build electrical control panels, junction boxes, and related subassemblies per customer and engineering requirements

Drill and tap panels for component mounting and wiring access
-
Install a wide variety of electronic and electromechanical components
-
Perform detailed wiring and verify connections for accuracy and quality

Document build changes and assist in initiating ECOs

Conduct basic mechanical fabrication and finishing tasks

Move and position materials within the facility as needed

Install completed assemblies and subassemblies into enclosures and wall-sized cabinets
Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour
