Asst Facility Security Officer (AFSO)
Responsible for managing security compliance and daily office operations, including implementing industrial security programs, supporting classified contracts, and overseeing facility administrative functions.
Job Requirements:

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
-
Must have or be eligible to obtain U.S. Government Secret clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)

Experience with NISPOM / 32 CFR 117
-
Proficient in Defense Information System for Security (DISS)
-
Ability to respond to emergency alarm calls and escort visitors outside normal hours
-
Familiarity with Oracle procurement systems
-
Experience coordinating office supplies, shipments, and facilities maintenance
-
Capable of managing meeting logistics including catering and setup
Preferred Skills:
-
5+ years of industrial security experience with government contractors
-
Experience with DCSA and government customer interactions
-
Knowledge of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), ITAR/EAR regulations
-
Understanding of DCSA FOCI mitigation agreements (SSA, ECP, TCP, AOP)
-
Experience with NISS, Avigilon Camera Systems, and Insider Threat Programs
-
Member of NCMS or related security organizations
-
Background in performing DCSA Vulnerability Assessments and self-inspections
-
Familiar with security education, training, and awareness program administration
Job Responsibilities:

Serve as secondary point of contact for personnel security matters with DCSA

Manage and enforce security compliance across classified government programs
-
Process DD1172s, visit requests, and international visit approvals

Conduct investigations of security incidents and recommend corrective actions

Coordinate and document annual self-inspections of the security program

Maintain accurate security metrics and generate monthly reports

Provide ongoing security training and briefings for all personnel

Manage ordering of supplies, receive shipments, and coordinate with vendors

Maintain office functionality through facility scheduling and upkeep

Support event and meeting coordination, including logistics and supplies

Collaborate with other NS2 security teams to align compliance practices
Pay Details: $18.00 to $24.00 per hour
