Test Technician responsible for executing test procedures, documenting system performance, and supporting lab operations for robotic-assisted surgery systems.


Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

  • Vocational or technical education or certification may be required

  • Ability to document system performance and usage

  • Ability to diagnose system failures, isolate, reset, or replace faulty components

  • Fundamental understanding of computers with basic networking and upgrade experience


Preferred Skills:

  • 3+ years of technician experience in the medical device or regulated industry

  • Ability to create accurate diagrams and document equipment configurations

  • Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products

  • Basic knowledge of circuit boards and electronics

  • Understanding of hardware/software interactions, communications, and troubleshooting

  • Experience with purchasing, tracking, and receiving equipment

  • Experience assembling office and electronic equipment

  • Experience supporting lab maintenance activities

  • Experience setting up, running, and executing test procedures


Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute test methods and simulated procedures on robotic surgical systems

  • Document system performance and communicate hardware/software issues

  • Perform simulated bedside assist functions including component positioning and material handling

  • Perform manual setup, tear down, and cleaning of equipment

  • Transport equipment throughout the facility and take measurements to assess performance

  • Conduct emergency simulations and repetitive ergonomic interaction cycles with system controls



Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
