Seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead integrated product teams and ensure successful execution of aerospace and defense programs valued between $5M and $100M, overseeing technical, cost, and schedule objectives.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field

  • 515 years of program management experience on large aerospace or defense contracts

  • Experience in equipment/hardware production and delivery

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage detailed program budgets

  • Prior engineering or operations background with transition into program management

  • Sole U.S. citizenship and eligibility for DOD security clearance

  • Willingness to travel to customer and supplier sites


Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management Systems and Risk Management practices

  • Understanding of high complexity / low mix manufacturing processes

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

  • Experience managing defense-related programs, especially in Naval applications

  • Strong analytical and financial skills

  • Ability to translate strategic input into actionable project plans

  • Proven customer relationship experience


Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and control execution of work plans to achieve technical, cost, and schedule goals

  • Lead integrated teams including engineering, planning, manufacturing, quality, contracts, and finance

  • Serve as the primary customer point of contact

  • Facilitate regular program meetings and drive team toward milestone completion

  • Maintain customer communications to meet or exceed expectations

  • Identify and resolve program-related issues, including work scope, quality, resources, and costs

  • Track and certify cost data, including Estimate at Complete reviews

  • Develop and manage program Risk Management Plan

  • Coordinate sourcing and supplier activities to meet material and production needs

  • Bridge communication and planning between operations, shop floor, and program management

  • Collaborate with internal and customer project teams to meet contract objectives



Pay Details: $54.00 to $72.00 per hour
