Lead and execute the design, analysis, and development of steam turbine components and systems to meet industry standards and contractual requirements.


Job Requirements:

  • Sole U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the steam turbine or related industry

  • Ability to travel 5%–15% annually depending on project assignments

  • Proficiency in creating UG drawings and 3D models

  • Knowledge of thermodynamics, machine design, metallurgy, and turbine operation

  • Experience in managing engineering projects and cross-functional collaboration


Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Oracle manufacturing systems/software

  • 10+ years of experience in steam turbine manufacturing and design


Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new and existing steam turbine components within cost and performance guidelines

  • Conduct feasibility studies and define product design requirements per contractual specifications

  • Analyze test data to assess performance and identify operating deficiencies

  • Develop performance curves and calculation methods for use in quoting and marketing

  • Coordinate with engineering teams to meet design, quality, and contractual goals

  • Execute product improvement initiatives to reduce costs and improve standardization

  • Investigate and resolve field issues through redesign or procedural updates

  • Create and utilize computer programs to support performance and mechanical analysis

  • Address manufacturing deviations and implement corrective actions

  • Supervise and direct design engineers and technicians on turbine component development



Pay Details: $120,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year
