Manufacturing Engineer
Manufacturing Engineer designs and optimizes production lines, process flow, and time-study data to launch efficient manufacturing units at the Camden facility.
Job Requirements
-
Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline
-
47 years of manufacturing-engineering experience in high-mix or high-volume environments
-
Proven background designing production lines, sequencing manufacturing events, and conducting timing studies
-
Proficiency in Excel for data analysis, cost tracking, and line-balance calculations
-
Availability for an 80 percent production-floor / 20 percent desk-based work schedule
Preferred Skills
-
Lean or Six Sigma certification and hands-on kaizen project experience

Expertise with industrial-engineering software for layout planning and discrete-event simulation

Familiarity with MES/ERP systems for routings, BOMs, and performance dashboards

Experience generating current-state vs. future-state value-stream maps
Job Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and analyze manufacturing-engineering plans and projects; present findings to internal and external stakeholders

Define, develop, and transfer manufacturing tools, strategies, and systems that support line efficiency and scalability

Create manufacturing strategies and process flows for new products and production lines

Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to coordinate smooth release of new products into production

Estimate and track manufacturing costs, establish time standards, and specify tooling and process requirements for new or existing product lines

Collect and interpret hours-per-unit data; design, set up, and balance new production units and lines at the Camden site

Maintain records and reporting systems that ensure accurate coordination and continuous improvement of manufacturing operations
Pay Details: $33.00 to $45.00 per hour
