Manufacturing Engineer designs and optimizes production lines, process flow, and time-study data to launch efficient manufacturing units at the Camden facility.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline

  • 47 years of manufacturing-engineering experience in high-mix or high-volume environments

  • Proven background designing production lines, sequencing manufacturing events, and conducting timing studies

  • Proficiency in Excel for data analysis, cost tracking, and line-balance calculations

  • Availability for an 80 percent production-floor / 20 percent desk-based work schedule

Preferred Skills

  • Lean or Six Sigma certification and hands-on kaizen project experience

  • Expertise with industrial-engineering software for layout planning and discrete-event simulation

  • Familiarity with MES/ERP systems for routings, BOMs, and performance dashboards

  • Experience generating current-state vs. future-state value-stream maps

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and analyze manufacturing-engineering plans and projects; present findings to internal and external stakeholders

  • Define, develop, and transfer manufacturing tools, strategies, and systems that support line efficiency and scalability

  • Create manufacturing strategies and process flows for new products and production lines

  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to coordinate smooth release of new products into production

  • Estimate and track manufacturing costs, establish time standards, and specify tooling and process requirements for new or existing product lines

  • Collect and interpret hours-per-unit data; design, set up, and balance new production units and lines at the Camden site

  • Maintain records and reporting systems that ensure accurate coordination and continuous improvement of manufacturing operations



Pay Details: $33.00 to $45.00 per hour
