Seeking an experienced engineer to design, develop, and maintain embedded systems for high-voltage motor drive applications in aerospace or industrial environments.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

  • 10+ years of experience with embedded systems using analog and digital electronic circuits

  • 10+ years of experience with isolated motor drives

  • 10+ years of experience with galvanically isolated feedback/control systems

  • 5+ years of experience with 270VDC+ motor drive bridges

  • 5+ years of experience using Altium Designer for schematic capture, PCB layout, and component management

  • Understanding of formal design practices aligned with DO-254 guidance

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Texas Instruments Code Composer Studio

  • Familiarity with TIs SM320F28335 DSP

  • Knowledge of ARINC 429 protocol and Holt hostless ARINC 429 devices

  • Understanding of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machines (PMSMs) and Brushless DC Machines (BLDCs)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain embedded control systems for high-voltage motor drives

  • Develop schematics and PCB layouts in Altium for new and existing projects

  • Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to ensure robust system integration

  • Analyze system requirements to ensure compliance with DO-254 and other relevant standards

  • Support testing, validation, and troubleshooting of motor drive systems

  • Maintain detailed design documentation, configuration management, and version control



Pay Details: $54.00 to $72.00 per hour
