Jr.Mechanical Engineer
Seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to create detailed engineering designs for recycling equipment and manage projects from design through production, collaborating across sales, engineering, and procurement teams.
Job Requirements:
BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
13 years of experience in mechanical design
Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
Experience with ERP software
Understanding of manufacturing processes including sheet metal bending, punching, and welding
Ability to synthesize mechanical component requirements
Capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines under pressure
Professional communication skills for customer interactions
Preferred Skills:
Experience in Design and/or Electrical Engineering roles
Prior work designing recycling systems or conveyor equipment
Familiarity with standardized procedures and engineering best practices
Experience identifying and implementing process improvements
Knowledge of supplier relations and cost reduction strategies
Job Responsibilities:
Design recycling equipment and supporting structures in collaboration with sales and engineering teams
Create engineering drawings for manufacturing, field installation, and documentation
Specify components and generate Bills of Materials
Use ERP software to coordinate with procurement and ensure timely delivery of parts
Manage projects through the production process on the manufacturing floor
Document procedures and train team members on standard practices
Lead initiatives to improve manufacturing and engineering efficiencies
Drive cost-saving strategies and maintain supplier relationships
Pay: 31-42

Pay Details: $31.00 to $42.00 per hour
