Seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical systems design for large-scale facilities projects, manage cross-agency coordination, and oversee project execution from concept through construction.


Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of mechanical systems design experience

  • Extensive knowledge of conventional engineering methods and practices

  • Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering projects

  • Familiarity with municipal and regulatory coordination processes


Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to adapt and modify standard engineering techniques and criteria

  • Proficiency in planning, scheduling, and conducting engineering work

  • Skilled in resolving complex design and coordination issues

  • Experience preparing technical specifications, contract documents, and cost estimates

  • Knowledge of bidding procedures and construction site observation

  • Competence in supervising and mentoring engineering and technical personnel


Job Responsibilities:

  • Apply standard and modified engineering techniques in mechanical design

  • Develop conceptual designs for major phases of large facility projects

  • Lead project planning, scheduling, and coordination activities

  • Oversee design progress and ensure compliance with applicable regulations

  • Act as liaison between clients, agencies, subcontractors, and internal teams

  • Review plans and technical documents for accuracy and completeness

  • Participate in bid review, construction administration, and field observation

  • Supervise less experienced engineers and support personnel

  • Perform additional engineering duties as required



Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
