Senior Designer (Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing)
Seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, coordination, and execution of large-scale facility projects while supervising engineering teams and interfacing with external agencies.
Job Requirements:

Minimum 10 years of mechanical systems design experience

Extensive knowledge of engineering techniques, procedures, and standards

Experience managing complex facility-type projects
Preferred Skills:
-
Ability to resolve conflicting design and coordination issues

Proficiency in preparing technical specifications, estimates, and contract documents

Familiarity with permitting and coordination processes involving City, State, and County officials

Strong understanding of construction administration and site observation
-
Experience supervising junior engineers and technical staff
Job Responsibilities:

Perform engineering tasks using standard and modified techniques within the assigned functional area

Develop initial mechanical design concepts for major project phases

Plan, schedule, and coordinate engineering work across disciplines

Supervise project progress and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Act as liaison between clients, agencies, subcontractors, and design teams
-
Review and prepare detailed plans, technical specs, and cost estimates
-
Participate in bidding processes and construction administration efforts
-
Conduct site visits and observe construction activities
-
Manage and mentor less experienced engineers and support personnel
-
Execute additional project-related duties as assigned
Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
