Seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary consulting projects, oversee technical and financial performance, and drive client engagement.


Job Requirements:

  • B.S. in engineering or related field

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in consulting engineering

  • Previous experience in project management

  • Multi-state PE registration preferred


Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency with project management tools and reporting systems

  • Strong understanding of engineering scopes, budgets, and timelines

  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards

  • Experience with client development and proposal preparation

  • Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and disciplines


Job Responsibilities:

Project Management

  • Establish project teams and develop initiation documents, including scope, schedule, and budget

  • Ensure project implementation follows scope and timelines

  • Coordinate with other project managers to avoid scheduling conflicts

  • Provide technical guidance and contribute to project recommendations

  • Maintain up-to-date project databases for organizational tracking

  • Oversee report quality and adherence to review protocols

Business & Fiscal Management

  • Identify and communicate new business or competitive insights

  • Control project expenses in alignment with approved budgets

  • Issue project change notices for scope or budget variations

  • Maximize project profitability through efficient resourcing and pricing

Administrative

  • Evaluate and manage project staff based on performance and development needs

Relationship Building

  • Identify and pursue new project opportunities with existing and prospective clients

  • Maintain regular client contact to assess project performance and explore additional opportunities



Pay Details: $130,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year
