Senior Structural Engineer
Lead structural design projects involving concrete, steel, and foundations with responsibility for team direction, code compliance, and collaboration with geotechnical and construction partners.
Job Requirements:

BS or MS in Civil or Structural Engineering

Experience in concrete and steel structural design
-
Experience in foundation design
-
Familiarity with wind and seismic design principles
-
Proficiency with RISA or similar structural analysis software
-
Strong understanding of applicable structural design codes
-
Experience interpreting geotechnical reports and integrating findings into design
Preferred Skills:

Experience directing and leading structural design teams
-
Experience mentoring junior engineers
-
Specification writing and bid package creation
-
Experience communicating with clients and managing project coordination
-
Ability to respond to construction inquiries and provide technical support
Job Responsibilities:

Lead structural design efforts across multiple project phases

Analyze and design structures using concrete, steel, and foundation systems

Apply geotechnical data to structural solutions

Ensure compliance with local and national structural design codes

Manage drafting and design coordination
-
Guide junior engineers in technical development and project delivery
-
Write technical specifications and compile bid documentation
-
Serve as a liaison between design team, clients, and contractors during project execution
Pay Details: $56.00 to $75.00 per hour
