BIM Drafter

Produce detailed technical drawings and schematics using CAD software while collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors to support building design and construction documentation.

Job Requirements:

• Experience drawing floor plans, blueprints, and mechanical drawings

• Proficiency in CAD software for creating technical drawings

• Understanding of federal, state, and local building codes

• Ability to produce accurate schematics, diagrams, and technical illustrations

• Experience drafting interior spaces, including walls, staircases, railings, and doors

Preferred Skills:

• Experience using Revit and BIM software

• Familiarity with construction documentation standards

• Ability to work closely with architects, structural engineers, and contractors

• Ability to learn and execute technical drawings quickly and efficiently

Job Responsibilities:

• Create detailed floor plans and mechanical schematics

• Develop accurate construction documents in compliance with code requirements

• Collaborate with design teams to translate concepts into technical drawings

• Maintain drawing standards and ensure quality control of drafting output

• Utilize Revit and BIM tools for 3D modeling and coordination of building systems

Pay Details: $40,000.00 to $50,000.00 per year
