Project Controls Engineers (Gas Turbines)
Design, develop, and implement turbine control systems, including hardware, software, and field services, for power generation and industrial applications.
Job Requirements:

3–5 years of turbine controls experience in design, manufacturing, testing, installation, or commissioning

Minimum 3 years in automation with hands-on software development and implementation

Proficiency with AutoCAD for generating system diagrams and electrical drawings
-
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, control logic diagrams, P&IDs, and cause & effect diagrams
-
Experience conducting on-site services including installation supervision, system testing, startup, and training
-
Proficient in electrical testing using digital multimeters, calibrators, and function generators
Preferred Skills:
-
Experience with turbine platforms from GE, Westinghouse, Siemens, or Rolls Royce
-
Familiarity with Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation, Siemens, or GE/Emerson controllers
-
Proficiency with HMI platforms such as RSView Studio, FactoryTalk View, Cimplicity, Wonderware, or Archestra
-
Background in specifying and selecting electrical/control components and low voltage distribution (480 VAC/120 VAC)

Ability to analyze and integrate data from electrical and mechanical systems and manufacturer datasheets
Job Responsibilities:

Review and ensure project designs meet customer specifications and purchase order requirements

Create and approve project drawings including wiring diagrams, system schematics, and network architectures

Generate project Bill of Materials and all associated procurement documentation

Develop control system software using logic diagrams, control narratives, OEM documentation, and P&IDs

Troubleshoot and revise existing controller programs based on performance data and customer feedback

Provide field services including control system startup, testing, and customer support
-
Deliver projects in alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and technical requirements
Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
